The Finance Theory Webinar (FTWebinar) is a monthly virtual seminar series that brings together scholars from around the world to discuss new research in finance theory. The webinars are typically held on the first Thursday of the month at 12 noon Eastern Time during the fall and spring semesters. The webinars are run in the style of a regular departmental seminar series with questions and comments from participants to provide authors with valuable feedback and allow for a productive discussion. Each webinar consists of a one hour presentation of a paper followed by a half hour virtual coffee break for further discussion. The FTWebinar has been running since the spring of 2020.
